More than 200 people were at the State of Industry last week. WCVE’s John Felton & Gwynne Brown were awarded “Sponsor of the year” from the VPA and 28 vendors showed their stuff. Here’s a link to the video produced by Profound Productions.


Jake Pulliam has opened Bridge Studio and it’s available to rent for shoots.


Speaking of spaces, Liquid Talent Group has acquired a space at Stony Point Center (9200 Stony Point Parkway, Suite 193 in the Dillard’s Wing across from Cinebistro). They’re holding an “Open Casting Call” for all kinds of talent from actors to models to vocalists. 2/27, 1-3pm. Send an email with questions.

They’re also casting for a shoot on 2/25 (auditions 2/22). Looking for Indian, Scandinavian and/or Korean males. Send an email with H/R.


The production of BLACK BATS (part of the 2014 Sundance Creative Producing Lab) starts production in April. They’re seeking non-department heads in many departments, as well as a Production Manager and a Locations Manager. Submit here and Send an email with resume and questions.
