25 years later, Will Smith and Martin Lawrence team up for yet another sequel to their originally funny action films. They’re still in Miami and combating a new drug lord from Mexico with a personal vendetta. As in the others, there’s plenty of great scenery, wild car chases, vicious fights and brutal gun violence. What’s missing is the comedy that made the others so much fun. This one’s much more serious (existential almost) and lacks the fun of the original. It’s an OK action film, but in no way special.
