Into the Night (review)

This is the first Netflix entry from Belgium (dubbed into English). Due to a shift in the sun’s polarity, every organic thing (including humans) is instantly destroyed by the flood of gamma rays when the sun rises. One small group of passengers is stranded on their plane, as they fly around the world trying to stay in the dark. As expected, there are numerous setbacks, while the interactions among the passengers becomes ever more stressed. Even when it completely ignores credibility, it’s necessary to accept this unusual premise in order to appreciate the drama. While the concept is interesting, the exaggerated conflicts require patience to get to their next challenge. (6 one-hour episodes with what looks like a 2nd season cliffhanger) Netflix link
