Justice League (review)

DC Comics has tossed a bunch of superheroes on the screen to create a jumbled mess. Batman (Ben Affleck) is joined by Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Superman (Henry Cavill) and new faces like Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash to save the world (what else?). Of course, the group has to be assembled, so that takes some time. Then, it’s one long dull battle. After a while, watching the same people get slammed around becomes a bore (innocent civilians are mostly spared). Other than Ezra Miller’s enjoyable take on The Flash, there’s little personality or fun in this group. Even worse, the action is trite, the villain is a yawn and  there aren’t any innovative special effects. NOTE: As is de rigueur for this genre, stay thru the credits for (in this case) a whole nother movie.
