Kingsman: The Golden Circle (review)

The first movie introduced this ramped-up version of James Bond and this one revs it up once again with cool gadgets, neat technology, snazzy visuals and dizzying fights. Taron Egerton, who’s back as the young secret operative, is joined by Colin Firth (also returning) as they travel to the US to join their American counterparts (including Channing Tatum, Jeff Bridges and Halle Berry). The mission is to stop a perky drug queenpin (Julianne Moore) who threatens to kill millions of people in a rather unusual way. The ramped-up action borders on super hero physics, but the exaggerated stunts are what make it so much fun.
