June marks 18 years since the murder case that left former Navy SEAL trainee, Dustin Turner, sentenced to 82 years in prison without parole. Even though another man confessed to the murder and to framing his “swim buddy,” the Commonwealth of Virginia refuses to release Turner. Naval retiree J.D. Leete has made an investigative documentary exploring the details of the case and talked to me about his efforts.
