Hollywood’s exhaustive exploitation of well-known brands hits rock bottom with this absurd concept: Aliens interpret signals of classic arcade games as a declaration of war, so they attack us with giant destructive versions. Add the fact that it stars Adam Sandler and Kevin James and you’re in for pure drek. The only thing to recommend this film is the cool destructive special effect that turns objects into glowing pixelated blocks. Otherwise, overacting, dumb dialogue and ho-hum action pile on the insults to our eyes and ears.
