The Comedy of Errors (Review)

THE PLAY: One of Shakespeare’s earliest plays and also his shortest. The plot is secondary to the comic confusion of mistaken identity involving 2 sets of twins.

THE PRODUCTION: It moves along with a zippy pace and a strong ensemble that makes the Bard’s language accessible. Molly Hood as Adriana and both Dromios (John Mincks & James Murphy) skillfully use their voices and bodies to bring the comedy to it’s hilarious heights. Director Steve Perigard boosts the fun with energetic staging and lots of delightful physical gags.

THE POINT: A rollicking farce that’s entertaining, highly amusing and downright fun.
