On Monday 7/29, our colleague Kathryn Stephens passed away. Kathryn started working at the Film Office as an intern and stayed on to manage the location library, Virginia Screenwriting Competition and the Virginia Independent Film Festival.  There was a celebration of her life yesterday.  If you wish to send a card to her family, you can send it care of the Virginia Film Office: Susan and Richard Stephens, VFO, 901 East Byrd Street, 23219-4048. The family has asked that donations be made in Kathryn’s name to the Byrd Theatre Foundation, P.O. Box 14860, Richmond Virginia. 23221.
