Randolph Macon College’s Marketing and Communications department has a full-time position for a Videographer/Interactive Specialist.  


The James River Film Society is hosting an unusual outdoor film projection/live music experience 10/10, 8 pm, in the courtyard of the Visual Arts Center (1812 W. Main St). Luis Bunuel’s/Salvador Dali’s silent surrealist classic L’AGE D’OR will be accompanied by Jonathan Goldie on Spanish guitar and THE CABINET OF DR. CALIGARI will feature the electronic sounds of Predation (Lee Lewis, ex-Hard Stripes). $10.


James River Short Films is accepting entries thru 9/30. This is jointly sponsored by the Virginia Film Office and the James River Film Society and is a juried contest with $2000 in prizes (entry fee $15 for VA residents, $25 for others). The awards screening will be at VMFA 11/20, 6:30. Click here for details.


Eva DeVirgilis is teaching another 4-hour on-camera acting intensive class, 10/25, 1-5pm, $100. Click here for details.


A short that’s shooting around Richmond 10/23-25 is looking for camera and set PAs (no pay, meals provided). Send an email if interested.
