A new genre of film is showing up more and more: There’s not much plot. Just people experiencing events and having relationships. This movie is the latest example: A romcom about a young woman who goes thru 2 romances, while toying with a career. Being that it’s Norwegian, you can expect little “com” and plenty of “rom,” including lots of discussion and underplayed passion. The performances are subtle, but effective and the couples offer unsentimental and honest examinations of their relationships. While not much really happens, the interactions are interesting and they merge by the end to create some absorbing character portraits. (In Norwegian with subtitles)
