This latest Disney animation from Pixar tracks a young boy who ends up beamed into outer space, where he befriends a cute lifeform (among others). Being from Pixar, attractive visuals and an interesting story are expected. The alien worlds are colorful, but kinda weird and not in a cute way. The story spends too much time talking before it finally become fun. The final act picks up the pace and adds some more exciting elements. By then, some youngsters may have lost interest. Of course, there’s a lesson about finding yourself in the world, but who cares? If it’s not in an entertaining package the message doesn’t matter.
