It’s been a popular choice for many years to cast Lady Bracknell in “The Importance of Being Earnest” as a man. This production features respected and popular actor Robert Throckmorton donning a dress for the role. When I went for the interview, the power was off, so we had to shoot in the back hall. Also, Robert mentions the changing sets for each act, but I was only there for the first 30 minutes, so you’ll have to see the show for details (or read my review). Several more characters show up later, so they’re not in the video.
