Aubrey Plaza plays the title character who’s having a hard time getting a decent job because of her criminal record. To help fund her massive debt, she happens upon a credit card scam that makes the movie’s title come into focus. Plaza is in almost every scene and her conflicted emotions play out with charismatic intensity. The business relationship she enters slowly grows into something more, proving her chemistry with Theo Rossi effective. First time writer/director John Patton Ford has fashioned a slow-burn drama that occasionally ramps up the intensity, but more often just presents an interesting character getting progressively deeper into trouble.
