Last nite, Firehouse Theatre Project announced its 20th season:
The summer musical: POP! WHO SHOT ANDY WARHOL? presented in partnership with Yale Repertory Theatre with John Mincks as Warhol.
The season opener: Marsha Norman’s ‘NIGHT MOTHER, which explores the final hour of a young woman who has decided that life is no longer worth living. Directed by NYC and DC actor/director/playwright David Emerson Toney with Lorri Lindberg in the lead.
For the Holidays: THE WILD PARTY a musical that’s not for the family, directed by Artistic Director Jase Smith with Maggie Marlin & Terence Sullivan in the leads..
Acts of Faith: THE ELABORATE ENTRANCE OF CHAD DEITY will feature a WWE-style wrestling ring on stage. Actor/director Barry Bell directs.
To close the season: A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE directed by Tawnya Pettiford-Wates.
They’re also hosting:
- a season of experimental theatre with Stage B Theatre Company
- a Dance Series produced by Starr Foster Dance Project
- work exploring racism by The Conciliation Project.
