Stephanie Hsu’s character discovers that her past boyfriends are dying…in the order she had sex with them. She and her bestie (Zosia Mamet) set out to solve the mystery. This series takes them thru visits with her still-alive exes, as she tries to warn them. Much of the comedy comes from the repartee between the two women, who both do a fine job. The narrative vacillates between funny-dark and talky-frustrating. It’s never remotely hilarious, but does include some fun characters, sufficient snappy dialogue and a clever plot to keep it interesting. (Eight 30-minute eps)
