Mary Elizabeth Winstead plays a woman whose career just hit a windfall. Unfortunately, a new virus is targeting the world’s richest people and her newfound wealth puts her at for an risk for infection. The early, unnecessary side trip to meet her new boss (a bizarre acting Timothy Spall) postpones the upcoming calamity. The idea has potential, but the impending economic disasters are all told via TV reports, so that’s not especially gripping. There are also holes in the plot, which make it even more frustrating. Her ultimate destination is completely unexpected, which adds another unique angle. This film never lives up to the cool promise of the concept. 1.5 out of 5.0 stars
