Peter Dinklage plays an opera composer with writers block until he meets a tugboat captain (Marisa Tomei). Meanwhile, his relationship with his clean-obsessed psychiatrist wife (Anne Hathaway) is troubled. Writer/director Rebecca Miller has created an appealing story with interesting characters and engaging situations. The fine performance add to the quality. This type of simple but smart filmmaking isn’t common these days, which makes this movie a delightful little charmer. (3.5 / 5)
