The creators of these comically charming claymation characters are back with another delightful adventure. Wallace invents a “smart” garden gnome that’s impressive…until it’s turned evil by a villainous penguin. This film is up there with the best from Aardman Animations: The idiosyncratic characters with their funny bits, the wacky writing and the impressive stop-motion animation. While this will appeal to young viewers, there’s plenty for adults to enjoy in this whimsical clever caper.
