The story starts as the lead (Gavin Drea) dashes down the aisle to stop a wedding and proclaim his love for the bride (Rosa Salazar). This is the first wedding in the series that includes nuptials in every episode, but things go dark pretty quickly. As a result, the duo is on the run from the law AND a crime syndicate, weaving and bobbing thru a series of close calls. Meanwhile, continuous flashbacks expand the interactions with their circle of friends. This is an interesting combo of frustrated romance, on-the-lam action and dark comedy. The characters are sufficiently appealing and the plot is sufficiently thick and twisty to keep compelling. (3.5 / 5)
