Álex Pina is the creator of the worldwide Netflx hit Money Heist. This is his newest series. A woman travels to Ibiza where her brother disappeared 20 years earlier. He was a wild-living DJ, who was viciously killed. Considering the location and it’s rep, there’s plenty of decadence with drugs and sex. Considering it’s a murder mystery there are a few violent encounters. Layered over top of all that is a healthy dose of soap opera drama, including numerous passionate relationships and family discord. It’s not as exciting as Money Heist, but it’s well made and the debauched lifestyle adds an element of pleasure. The final episode does pack some powerful revelations. (Ten 1-hour episodes in Spanish and English with subtitles)
