After the death of their beloved grandmother, an adult brother and sister decide to perform an archaeological examination of her house. They comb thru the clutter to analyze and catalog the contents. Luckily, they have years of video interviews to flesh out her personality. This sounds somewhat self-indulgent and it is, but what makes the documentary so interesting is their approach. With attractive cinematography and unusual flights of fancy, they’ve expanded their quest to the level of art film. There are visually delightful compositions that, frankly, make the movie more appealing that it otherwise would be.
