All 3 of these comics have had specials on Netflix before. This is a look at their latest.
Neal Brennan: Blocks He made his rep as co-creator of the landmark Chappelle Show with Dave Chappelle. His first Netflix standup (3 Mics) was an innovative approach with 3 different areas of the stage hosting varying approaches to storytelling. This new one has a framing device of artistic objects that spur new jokes, but doesn’t add to the humor. Even so, his style is dry and extremely smart with jokes that make you laff, then think. Fortune Feimster: Good Fortune I didn’t catch her other stand up for Netflix (Sweet and Salty), but if it’s anything like this new one it’ll be clever and entertaining. Fortune has a naturally funny delivery and her stories are entertaining. Being a lesbian is a big part of her identity and much of her humor comes from that, but she’s got a bright attitude and tells smart jokes. (4 / 5)

Trevor Noah: I Wish You Would This is his 3rd special for the streamer, but it seems to be following his The Daily Show routines more than his earlier standups. Of course, there’s political humor, but while his personal anecdotes are amusing, they’re not innovative or unique. As a regular watcher of TDS, I’ll miss his sharp perspective, but this standup isn’t a standout. (3 / 5)
