This latest kick-ass chick flick casts Jessica Alba as a Special Forces commando who moves back home to take over her father’s bar. So she’ll have some ass to kick, there’s a cadre of bad guys terrorizing her and her community. This is a formula film that offers absolutely nothing original in the plot or dialogue. The ONLY thing to watch is her character’s quick, brutal dispatching of her opponents. Alba does manage to perform the treacherous acrobatic stunts effectively, but at this point in the action genre, we need something more. This dud offers nothing.
