Sharon Horgan, who helped create Catastrophe and Divorce, co-created and stars in this crime drama. She plays one of 5 close-knit sisters in Dublin. One of their husbands (Claes Bang, who’s deliciously despicable) is so mean and hateful that they ALL have reasons to hate him. So, they set about trying to find an undetectable way to kill him. Of course, their efforts aren’t always successful, which leads to some of the darkly funny elements. Simultaneously, the owner of the insurance policy decides to investigate. Overall, this is not a comedy, but a cleverly-written murder mystery with the audience pulling for the criminals. The cast is entertaining and there are sufficient surprises to make it juicy fun.
