John David Washington plays an American tourist traveling with his girlfriend thru Greece, when a horrible accident changes his life and sends him on a dangerous chase to evade conspiratorial villains. This effort stands out in the genre because of the continuously unlikely scrapes that he manages to escape. Of course, Washington is the hero, so his pluck and determination keep him going, even when all things (including reality) conspire against him. Even though the production is solid, the string of mishaps and misdirections lacks any original staging or outcome. This is a quickly forgotten genre thriller.
