Bow Tie Cinemas will acquire 41 Clearview Cinemas from Cablevision, giving them 388 screens in 63 locations in 7 states, including the largest number in the New York metropolitan area. Chelsea Cinemas will become its Manhattan flagship.

They’re also launching a series of documentary film screenings called DOCURAMA (also at our Criterion), which will include: Vivan Las Antipodas, The World Before Her, The Fruit Hunters, Charge, Ping Pong & London: The Modern Babylon.

Each film will be preceded by a 3-minute short from GE FOCUS FORWARD-Short Films, Big Ideas and followed by a pre-taped Q&A with the feature’s directors.
