CAT Theatre is hosting the Red Eye 10s Coast-to-Coast Play Festival 9/18 & 19. They will cast, rehearse and perform 6 contest-winning 10-minute plays from MFA students at Hollins University during the same 24 hours.

9/18: plays will be randomly cast and actors will meet with their directors and read the play.

9/19: casts will rehearse in various venues form 9-5, convening at CAT in the late afternoon for technical rehearsals.

At 8pm the plays will be performed in a public performance (followed by a reception).

CAT is looking for volunteers: actors, directors, assistant producers, event planners, ushers, box office, sound/lights operators, crew, etc.  If you can COMMIT to being available: 9/18 (7- 10pm) & 9/19 (9 am – 10pm), cat@cattheatre.com to Amy Berlin with Red Eye in the subject line (include contact information and preferred job).
