This is what some would call a guilty pleasure. It launched on TNT in 2017 and the 4th & final season just dropped. The story revolves around 5 manicurists in Florida headed by Nicey Nash (not afraid to be wild and sexy). Their nail biz quickly involves organized crime led by Dean Norris, as the pansexual redneck Uncle Daddy. He’s happily married to a wild woman, but often has his fey boy toy in tow. Each season they get embroiled in all manner of danger and even death. What makes the show so enjoyable are the outrageous characters, their wild ensembles, the insane situations and most of all, the clever, often hilarious writing. Yes, it’s over-the-top, but hey, consider where it takes place (actually shot in Louisiana). It’s wild, trashy fun.
