The Drama Program at Highland Springs High School is transferring their production of IN THE HEIGHTS to Firehouse Theatre. This is the first connection in Project Ignite, new initiative of Firehouse to provide a bridge between secondary education programs and the professional theatre.

IN THE HEIGHTS, which ran for 3 performances at the school in April, is set in New York’s Washington Heights neighborhood. The play won the 2008 Tony for Best Musical, Best Score, Best Choreography and Best Orchestrations. With an ensemble of returning actors and newcomers, it will run for 6/4-5 & 11-13 at 7pm and 6/14 at 3pm. Tickets are $10.
