A world-changing flood leaves a cat struggling to stay afloat, when it takes refuge on a passing boat. There it creates an uneasy co-existence with a capybara, a lemur, a bird and a dog. This is told without dialogue, only music and sound effects, but the story of trust and caring rings thru. It was produced in Latvia using open-source Blender 3D software. The land and waterscapes are lovely, while the creature animation looks more low-rez with somewhat blocky fur (I have assume this was intentional). The animal movement and “communication” is remarkably true to life. Overall, the story of peaceful coexistence is beautifully rendered and the feline’s plight is sweetly told.
