SPARC celebrates their 25th anniversary of New Voices for the Theater this summer. This year’s Playwright in Residence is Johanna Adams, who wrote “Gidion’s Knot” (produced at HATT Theatre last year). She’s here for 2 weeks and we chatted after rehearsal for her latest play, “World Builders.” There is a free premier reading on 6/15, 4pm, Leslie Cheek Theater at VMFA. Here’s what she had to say about her career, the new play and her initial impressions of the high school students’ plays.
