We can dispense with the plot, because it’s the usual…with the exception of a whole fantasy world that’s really ridiculous and a new mechanical foe. There’s plenty of VERY NOISY combat between the title characters and 2 sets of people running around trying to save the world or Kong. The effects aren’t special and the fights are a blur of hits and slams. Only hardcore fans of this legendary duo will want to bother.
