Mike Judge (Beavis and Butthead, Silicon Valley) created this adult animated series with Zach Woods and Brandon Gardner. Woods also voices the lead character, the host of NPR’s 3^rd most popular interview program. He and all the other employees are stop-motion puppets, while the guests on the show (via Zoom) are real celebs including Finn Wolfhard, Ken Burns, Hugh Laurie & Mike Tyson. This show alternates between cringe comedy and downright weird. It’s populated with a group of unusual characters that provide the series’ best asset. It’s def off-the-wall and yet another departure for Judge, so the only way to really tell if it appeals is to give a watch (they’re less than 30 minutes). I enjoyed the off-beat nature and found it sometimes peculiar, sometimes amusing and other times hilarious. (Six 30-minute eps) (3.5 / 5)
