With his unassuming ineptness and understated delivery, Zach Galifianakis is always amusing. In this movie, he provides the only laffs. He plays an earnest but boring HR manager who’s married to a sweet, but mousy Isla Fisher. Their life is upended when a hot, cool new couple with a secret agenda (Jon Hamm, Gal Gadot) moves into the neighborhood. While the plot is completely predictable and the script is seldom funny, there’s an upbeat energy that manages to keep it from boring and Galifianakis saves the day…or at least the movie.
