Kaley Cuoco discovers a time machine in a nail salon, so after falling for a charming man (Pete Davidson) she continues to revisit the nite they met…for the entire film. This basic time-travel premise has been done before and much better. This is basically a two-hander with the 2 actors replaying the same date with varying results. Cuoco doesn’t add much comic presence, while Davidson creates a moderately-charming chill character. Sadly, the premise is messy and the dialogue never rises above frustration. There’s nothing “cute” about this.
