Dwayne Johnson plays an FBI profiler who’s on the case of the world’s greatest art thief (Ryan Reynolds), while a competing crook (Gal Gadot) complicates matters. As a heist plot goes, this is pretty standard, but 2 things make it stand out: The chase/action scenes are fast, splashy and original while Reynolds’ wisecracks add continually funny commentary. This is pure fun big-budget escapism featuring 3 leads with snappy chemistry.
