Scott Garka will assume the position as President of CultureWorks on 1/20. Previously, he was Senior Director for Consulting Services with VHQC (formerly Virginia Health Quality Center). Before that, he worked for Capital One Financial Corporation and Arthur Andersen, LLP.

 

Education:

– Bachelor of Science Degree, Commerce, McIntire School of Commerce (UVA)

– Certificate in Fundraising and Development, Institute on Philanthropy (UR)

– Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Virginia

 

Community involvement:

– Board Member, Development Chair & Treasurer, Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen

– Performs with the Chamberlayne Actors’ Theater, Henrico Theater Company, Monument City Music and St. Michael’s Players.
