After his mother was killed, Danny’s father sequesters him in their house with threats of monsters outside…for 18 years. This bleak sounding drama is just that. The boy’s dreary circumstances are only magnified after his father dies and he must adjust to life in the real world. Basically, this is a character study of this deprived individual. As Danny, Lewis Gribben is soaked in sadness, while the circumstances contribute to his discomfort. The attempts to help his adjustment by his relatives provide strive and hope. Once the entirety of his horrible life is revealed, healing can begin, but not before we watch him suffer a lot.
