Tetris

Taron Edgerton stars as a struggling tech guy who discovers the titular game and decides to attain the US rights for it. This involves trips to Russia, where the game’s inventor lives, as well as facing the formidable government and the political machinations behind the scenes. Thus begins a back-and-forth scenario with him winning and losing….Capitalism vs. Communism. The story is mildly interesting and the production is professional. It’s just not especially thrilling or  involving and even feels repetitive. For a similar show that investigates the creation of Spotify and does it much better, check out The Playlist (my review). 2 out of 5 stars (2 / 5)
