Selina Ringel & Ritesh Rajan play a married couple with issues (nothing new here). They take a vacation to an upscale Mexican resort where they encounter Angela (Sydney Park). She introduces the concept of a potential three-way, which dominates the rest of the film’s discussion. And there’s plenty of that. As a matter of fact, talk is all this movie offers. Even though it’s billed as a comedy, it’s never remotely funny. The performances are OK, but there’s not much real personality on display from the actors. The script, also by Ringel, is pretty standard couple discussions without any snap or humor. This is simply a relationship drama without anything special to recommend it. NOTE: This movie was finished in 2023, so the mediocre quality may say something about why it took so long to get released.
